One of the most fun and rewarding types of ministry we have had the privilege of being involved with is working with short-term mission teams.  Some teams have been our own MUP mission teams that we do "everything" for, and other teams came through Campus Crusade or other organizations and needed only logistical help.  Either way, it is always challenging and rewarding work with a double reward - short term teams accomplish ministry to the Japanese and at the same time build a commitment to world missions in the team members.  Several of these former "short termers" are either already serving as long term missionaries or are in the process of going.  So far, we have had the joy of working with short-term workers from across the USA, and also from Panama, Korea, Canada, Denmark, and Hungary.  (Browse the other links in this section for photos and info about the programs we had in Hiroshima.)  We are fully convinced that the international and interracial makeup of teams can contribute to showing that the gospel is for all people everywhere.  Praise the Lord!
